Oyo Housing Corporation on Monday holds interdenominational service to thank God for seeing and usher in the new year 2021.

Addressing the workers during the service at the headquarters of the organisation, the Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal urged members of staff of the corporation to shun all negative tendencies that would undermine the growth of the organization.

The Chairman, who noted that workforce is the engine room of every organization, however admonished them to be of good character as he pointed out that their attitude could make or mar such organization.

In a statement signed by the Corporation’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Barrister Kunle Sanni, the Chairman assured the workers of necessary incentives to enhance their productivity.

The statement said Barrister Lawal also sought the cooperation of all workers, stressing that under his leadership, the lost glory of the corporation would be restored.

Meanwhile, in his sermon during the Interdenominational service, the Chief Imam of Oyo State Housing Corporation Central Mosque, Alhaji Muhammad Raji urged the corporation’s staff to rededicate themselves to the worship of almighty Allah.

According to Alhaji Raji, happenings around the globe in recent time have proved that life is nothing but vanity.

Speaking in the same vein, Pastor Olosunnla enjoined all to be at peace with God almighty, stressing that it is the only way to guarantee world peace.

Prayers were held in both Islamic and Christian ways for the progress of the Corporation in particular, Oyo State in general and Nigeria at large.
