A sister to Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola, the Oyo State Deputy Majority Leader in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Tejumade Babalola has been reportedly kidnapped in Ibadan by suspected gun men.
Tejumade was said to have been kidnapped at Monatan, Ibadan, the state capital on Monday, 21st of December while coming from her shop.
Reports had it that Tejumade was on a commercial motorcycle on the sad day when the suspected gunmen in a motor hurriedly packed at her side, shot sporadically into the air and forced her into their motor.
A family member who pleaded anonymity said the suspected kidnappers had reached out to the family and demanded for ₦20M ransom for her release.
The family member, who said efforts are on to secure her release, declined to speak further on the matter in order not to jeopardise the efforts.
