He also called on well-meaning individuals and philanthropists not to stop their acts of charity to the less privileged which they were doing during the holy month of Ramadan.
CCII President-General also called on all Nigerians to continue to pray for the country and its leadership, stressing that prayer for leaders will go a long way to positively affect the country. Ajewole admonished Nigerians to be patient with the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while expressing strong beliefs that the situation of the country will soon improve.
He however charged government at all levels to prioritise welfare of the electorate as economy is biting hard on every household in the country. He added that if corruption and insecurity are dealt with, the country’s problems will remain very minimal.
“Let me use this occasion of Eidel-Fitr to enjoin government at all levels to prioritise the welfare of the people and focus on finding lasting solutions to insecurity and corruption.” He stated.
