Prophet Israel Ogundipe Organises Birthday Celebration For Deputy Controller of Corrections, Okorie.

arranged a team of instrumentalists for a surprise birthday celebration of Deputy Controller of Corrections in charge of Kirikiri Correctional Center, Apapa, Lagos.
As the normal tradition, family and friends usually converge for celebration, to offer prayers and present gifts in recognition of the birthday of Mr. Okorie.
This year’s birthday celebration took a different turn as the Prophet of Celestial Church of Christ, Genesis Global, Prophet Israel Ogundipe organised a surprise birthday celebration for the Deputy Controller.
It would be recalled that Prophet Ogundipe was at the Correctional Center earlier this year where he witnessed, on a number of occasions, the dexterity and diligence displayed in line of duty by Mr. Okorie. Prophet Ogundipe described Mr. Okorie as a well trained officer who abhors discrimination at all levels.
Speaking during the surprise birthday celebration, Mrs. Adeshola Ogundipe, who represented her husband, Prophet Ogundipe, eulogized the senior Corrections Officer for his attitude to work.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, Celestial Church of Christ, Genesis Global, Gbolahan Ashorobi said, Mr. Okorie on his part, appreciated the love shown to him by Prophet Ogundipe, stressing that the man of God surpassed his expectations because he never believed anyone could leave the correctional center as an inmate and still have the officers there at heart.
The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of gifts by the team led by Prophet Ogundipe’s wife to the office of the Deputy Controller.
