Chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal has assured staff of the corporation of their career development under his leadership.
Barrister Lawal, who gave the assurance in Ibadan while declaring open a two-day training workshop organized for middle level officers of the corporation, noted that a motivated workforce would ensure the realization of the objectives of a given organization.
He maintained that he would continue to boost the morale of the workers for maximum productivity, stressing that apart from prompt payment of salaries and pensions, other incentives that would enhance efficiency such as constant training both at home and abroad would be enjoyed by the corporation’s workers.
While observing that the training was the third since his assumption of duties as the Chairman of the Corporation, Barrister Lawal urged the staff to reciprocate the gesture by being diligent in their work.
A statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Kunle Sanni said the two-day training workshop with the theme: “Repositioning For Optimal Performance in the Housing Delivery Sector”, was put together by the Oyo State Housing Corporation and Prestel Consult.
The corporation, which is charged with the responsibility of providing affordable housing for Oyo State citizens and residents, has in recent times opened up new estates of residence with a view to make it go round all the geopolitical zones in the state.
