The Wife of Oyo State Governor, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde has described Barrister Mojisola Ojo, the mother of Oyo State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Akinola Ojo, as a virtuous and outstanding woman who loves her children and a living legend in whatever course she lives for.
Mrs. Makinde made this known during a thanksgiving service to mark the 80th Birthday Anniversary of Barrister (Mrs.) Ojo held at Old Ife Road, Ibadan.
According to her, people need to celebrate a woman of substance and a living legend because the celebrant enjoyed the grace, mercy, and love of God in her life despite the odd she might have encountered before attaining the 80th birthday anniversary.
She wished the celebrant a happy birthday anniversary and pray for more grace to wax stronger in serving God Almighty and humanity.
While speaking, the celebrant, Barrister Mojisola Ojo said that the 80 years of her life has been of divine favour, grace, and mercy of God, adding that, whatever experience she came into at every point of her life has shapened her life and those of her family.
Barrister Ojo stressed further that despite many challenges, God has always seen her through and ensuring that at 80 she is happy and excited.
One of the celebrant’s sons and Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Akinola Ojo, described her mother as an amazing woman, a gem, somebody who loves without any boundary.
Mr. Ojo explained that the celebrant sacrificed her own future for him and his siblings and they own what they are today to their mum and dad. He therefore wished the celebrant happy birthday, God’s favour and blessings.
Some of the dignitaries that graced the occasion were the Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan; Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, Commissioner for Works, Mr. Sangodoyin Kehinde; Director-General of Due Process, Ms. Tara Adefowope and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Diaspora, Hon. Bolanle Sarumi, among others.
