The Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal has charged workers of the corporation to rededicate themselves to the ideals of the founding fathers of the organization.
Barrister Lawal gave the charge in Ibadan while addressing the staff of the corporation at an interdenominational program to usher in year 2022.
The Oyo Housing boss noted that the corporation has been blazing the trail in the past few months to be alive to its responsibilities.
He assured dedicated workers of the establishment of adequate rewards which would serve as impetus to others.
The Housing Corporation Chairman said all hands must be on deck for the realization of the core mandate of the corporation which is the provision of affordable housing to the people of the state.
Barrister Lawal, while commending the workforce for their loyalty and support last year, enjoined them to show a higher level of commitment and loyalty in the new year.
A statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Barrister Kunle Sanni said Pastor Olosunla in his exhortation urged the staff of the corporation to promote peace and mutual love for maximum productivity.
According to Barrister Sanni, the Chief Imam of the Housing Corporation Central Mosque, Alhaji Raji admonished the workforce to fear Allah in their actions, stressing that the corporation would be better for it if workers appreciate the need to work as a team in the atmosphere of love and comradeship.
Christian and Islamic prayers were held to usher in the year 2022.
