Civil servants under the umbrella of the Nigerian Labour Congress Oyo State chapter on Friday observed Jumat Prayer at the frontage of the state government secretariat while pressing home their demands from the state government.
The Juma’t prayer was in line with the industrial action going-on in the state while demanding that oyo state government should meet up with their demands.
While addressing journalists, the chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress, Oyo State Chapter, Comrade Kayode Martin called on Governor Seyi makinde to address their demands, noting that if the demands are not addressed, the union will not call off the industrial action going on in the state.
He further said that by the end of today the union we call for the Congress and decide on the next line of action if their need are not addressed at the end of today.
Today mark the fifth day of the industrial action by the labour unions in the state.
