National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Oyo State has debunked the rumour flying around that it is recruiting unemployed graduates for Oyo State Government.
The orientation agency debunked the rumour in a statement by its Head of Media in the state, Isiaka Kehinde, stressing that the spurious publication was the handiwork of some unscrupulous elements fuelled by some mischief makers.
The statement reads:
“This is to inform the public that the attention of our Agency has just been drawn to the ongoing spurious publication making the round and fuelled by some mischief makers, that the State Government is recruiting unemployed graduates for job placement through our Agency.
“While it can’t be disproved that Oyo State Directorate of the National Orientation Agency has a very cordial working relationship with the State Government, this doesn’t confer on us the duty of its recruitment agents, therefore we urge the good people of Oyo State to disregard the rumour, lest the they fall into the hands of scammers.
“While thanking Oyo State, Government and the good people of the state for their constant support and cooperation with the Agency, we wish them compliments of Ramadan season.”
