Oyo State Governorship hopeful, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi (OPA) has mourned the passage of elder statesman and politician, Chief Michael Koleoso.

This was in a statement by his media office, made available in Ibadan in a condolences to the Koleoso family and the Saki town in Oyo State on the passing of the politician.

Olaoluwa said the death of Koleoso, who was one of the Nigeria’s most celebrated, was a colossal loss to the state, and the nation was an irreplaceable loss to the people of Saki and Oyo State.

He said Koleoso record of service as a celebrated business man , community leader and politician of repute, a renowned philanthropist and a leader of remarkable achievements in different business sectors, community service and philanthropy would remain indelible for generations to come.

“On behalf of my family, supporters and board of Peter Olaoluwa Foundation, we mourn the departure of a legend and celebrated politician Chief Michael Koleoso, who contributed his quota to the state and Nigeria during his lifetime.

“The legacies of Chief Koleoso, who died yesterday, can not be forgotten because of the positive impacts he made during his lifetime and his extraordinary life of service to humanity, his community, and the nation.

“I commiserate with his family members, friends, associates, and the people of Oke Ogun, Oyo state over the death of the elder statesman. I pray for the repose of the soul of the late of his soul that God grants the deceased family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he stated.
