The Senator representing the Oyo South Senatorial District, Dr. Mohammed Kola Balogun has assured his constituents that the dividends of democracy will soon go round all the stakeholders and the general electorates.
In a press release by his Special Adviser on Media, Rotimi Johnson, the Senator made this assertion while addressing the beneficiaries of the Federal Government Survival funds during the capturing exercise done at a new generation hotel in Agodi, Ibadan.
The Senator, who was represented by Asiwaju Omilabu Gandhi at the event, said “those who are not listed for this benefit should be patient, there are others lined up for individuals, cooporative societies and other stakeholders. We need to let you know there is no need for desperation, it will soon be the turn of those who have not been listed yet”.
The leader of the data capturing team, Mr. Oladele Tomilola said the survival funds is a Covid-19 palliative initiative of the Federal Government for Artisans and traders, stressing that although the registration of beneficiaries was done since September 2020, the execution just started.
About 500 people benefited from the ₦30,000 grant, to be transferred directly into beneficiaries’ accounts.
