The Oyo state chapter of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy (OYNSP) has commended the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde on the revamping of the Lekan Salami Sports Complex in the Adamasingba area of Ibadan.
The Society showered encomium on Governor Makinde in a statement made available to newsmen by the Special Adviser on Media and Strategic Communication of the Society, Faysol Oluwakemi on Thursday.
OYNSP made it known in the statement that the revamping of the stadium is a sign that the governor cares about the physical and sporting activities of the state.
The statement also noted the need for the government to properly maintain the stadium to retain its standard.
OYNSP, however, implores the people of Oyo state to pay more attention to sporting activities and make maximum use of the remodeled Lekan Salami Sporting complex.
Mr. Oluwakemi emphasized that the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy in the state is ready to work hand-in-hand with the Oyo State Government by providing professional guidance and expert advice in areas of sporting and physical activities.
