Ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s two-day working visit on January 23 and 24 to the State of Lagos, the administration of the state has announced that there will be traffic diversions.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Commissioner for Transport Frederic Oladeinde.

According to him, alternative routes have been mapped out and officials of the Traffic Management Authority, (LASTMA) mobilised to manage traffic flow during the period.

He said: “On the first day (23rd), movement around the Imota Rice Mill in Ikorodu, and the Lekki Deep Port Sea axis, will be restricted.

“On the second day (24th), movement around Eko Hotels and Suites, Ahmadu Bello Way, J-Randle, through Broad Street and Outer Marina will be diverted from 6am to 3pm.”
