Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, on Wednesday, July 14th, disclosed that the Police have apprehended more suspects in connection with the death of the late Super TV CEO, Usifo Ataga.

Penangle.com gathered that the Lagos Commissioner of Police made this known during a briefing and parade of over 1,000 suspects at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos State.

While Odumosu did not give the identities or specific numbers of the recently arrested suspect, he assured that the Command was not sleeping on the case. He said that the Command was making sure it gets to the bottom of the case and prosecute all who were involved.

He maintained that the prime suspect, Chidinma Ojukwu, still had her rights intact, he also dismissed reports that the Police were trying to give her a soft landing, by shielding her.

The late Usifo Ataga, was killed on June 15, at the Lekki area of Lagos State. He was said to be spending time with his lover, Chidinma, the prime suspect in the case when the incident occurred.
