Oyo State Police Command on Monday paraded three suspects for allegedly being involved in the Iwo Road mayhem in which two people were killed.
Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko made this known while speaking with journalists in Ibadan.
According to Onadeko, investigation carried out by the tactical team of the command showed that the paraded suspects were involved in the crisis between the phone vendors and members of the Park Management System (PMS).
She said investigations are still on to bring anyone involved in the killing to book, adding that the recent reports of killings in the state will soon be a thing of the past.
In his reaction, one of the suspects, Omoniyi Elemo said he was attacked by some phone vendors while carrying out his duty.
It would be recalled that members of the state PMS were involved in a faceoff with some phone dealers in Iwo Road area last week Wednesday which resulted into the death of one Rahmon Azeez popularly called Jago.
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, during his visit to the troubled area, vowed to get justice for the family of the victim of the mayhem, stressing that his administration is working hard to improve the security architecture of the state.
