The Executive Chairman Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has presented a cheque of two hundred and fifty thousand naira to the Kajola Community in Ward Five as financial assistance for the construction of ongoing Kajola/Sonso Community High School.
According to the chairman, the project will enable the children of Kajola Community to have access to free Secondary school education.
While presenting the cheque to the community leaders at the chairman’s office in Ido Local Government Secretariat Ido, the council boss charged the parents to encourage their children to be dedicated to their studies, stressing that a child without education is like a bird without wings.
In their response, the community leaders appreciated the executive chairman for his kind gesture. They pledged more support for the Adeojo-led administration in Ido Local Government Area.
A statement signed by the Council’s Head of Information Unit, Folashade Oduola said the Chairman reiterated his commitment to give good governance while promising that his office will always remain open to listen the yearnings and aspirations of his people.
