In a landmark event, the Ibadan Mega Voice (IMV), an association representing Ibadan indigenes across communication fields, led by Aare Kola Olomide, paid a courtesy visit to the management of Success FM 105.3 in Mokola, Ibadan, a rising radio station making waves.

Dr. Tope Odetayo, the Chairman of Success FM 105.3, expressed his delight at hosting IMV, emphasizing that they were the first association to make such a visit. He shared the humble beginnings of Success FM, tracing its roots back to a small shop at Baba Onilu, Iwo-Road, where he and Mr. Afeez Adesina Jagunmade, popularly known as Paj1, started as Top Success, a phone shop.

Highlighting Paj1’s journey to becoming the General Manager of Success FM, Odetayo credited him as the driving force and motivation behind the station’s success, emphasizing their familial bond.

Aare Kola Olomide commended the station’s success and prayed for its continued prosperity, extending his blessings to the chairman, general manager, and entire workforce. He particularly thanked the Chairman for the special recognition, revealing that five members of IMV were beneficiaries of car gifts presented to Success FM staff.

Comrade Dam also lauded Mr. Abdul-Rasak Abdul-Ganeey, affectionately known as Mr. GRA, recognizing him as one of the most successful broadcasters, he acknowledged his role in nurturing talents that have excelled in the broadcasting sphere.

Notable personalities present during the visit included Aare Kola Olomide, Mr. GRA, Mr. Ademola Solalu, Mr Jubril Abimbola Arowolo Aare, Comrade Dam, Mr. Tunji Aborisade, Saheed Alatise, Abiodun Adewole popularly called Double-A, Oladapo Ibikunle, Aare Emmanuel Ibikunle Elereoba and Feyisetan Hamzat.

Taking the opportunity, Mr. GRA expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman for the warm reception. The event marked a significant moment in the collaboration between IMV and Success FM, promising a future of continued success and growth for both entities.
