The State Director, Oyo State National Orientation Agency, Mr. Kayode Odedokun has sent his best wishes to Muslims and the entire citizens in Oyo State and across the country as they celebrate Eidel-Kabir which is a special time that highlights the sacrifice and promise kept by Prophet Ibrahim sacrificing his only son as a gift to Allah for answering his prayers.

In this vein, Mr. Odedokun calls on all Muslims and every Nigerian to continue the good deeds and eschew every act that are ignoble as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
The season, he adds, provides an opportunity to focus, reflect, forgive, patience and resilience; for with each lesson profound on its own and aggregate a harmonious whole of value-based society.
This captures the Director’s felicitation message made available to the press today and signed by the Head, Media and Publicity of the Agency, Alhaji Isiaka Kehinde.
Mr. Odedokun emphasised that religion plays important role in the formation and transformation of the social entities as it lays down specific moral guidelines and enjoins virtues which, if adhered to, will promote human flourishing.”
The Director therefore rejoices with all the citizens and urge them to continue to foster peace and boost social integration in continuation of our collective quest for building a society where peace and progress will be attainable.
The NOA Director further states: “As Nigerian muslims celebrate, we should all be reminded that we are one Nigerian indivisible family. We must stand firmly in rejection of the voices that seek to divide us or limit our religious freedoms or civic rights and stand in celebration of our common humanity.
Mr. Odedokun however enjoins all road users to take necessary precautions for effective and safe vehicular movement on the roads being enforced by the relevant Traffic Management Authorities during the public holidays and after.
