The Chief of Army Staff Major General Taoreed Lagbaja has expressed his drive to operate in synergy with other security agencies, sister agencies towards ensuring peace, stability to allow law abiding citizen to engage in their businesses all peacefully across the nation.
Chief of Army Staff made the statement during a courtesy visit to the Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde and in celebration of of 160th years of the existence of the Nigerian Army.
Major General Lagbaja promised to use his philosophy of command to transform the Nigeria Army into a well train, equip and operational efficient Army towards achieving it constitutionally responsibility in a joint environment.
In his address, Oyo state governor Engineer Seyi makinde reassured the chief of Army Staff of the State’s commitment to ensure cordial relationships that will promote peace and tranquility in the state are maintained between the government and the Nigerian Army.
He further encouraged the leadership of the Nigerian Army to engage their people and be focused on surmounting the challenges.
