President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole has sent an appeal to the youth of Ibadan to embrace innovation and creativity amidst challenging economic circumstance in the country.

He submitted that opportunities presented by information and communication technology should be embraced by the youth to come out stronger at this time.

In his message to the youth, Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole stressed the detrimental impact of engaging in criminal activities or violence, highlighting the long-term consequences for both individuals and the community at large.

He admonished young people to resist the urge of temptation, particularly in light of the current economic hardships facing the country.

Reiterating CCII’s mission to contribute to the betterment of Ibadan, the President-General reaffirmed the association’s ongoing efforts to support initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.

He called upon the youth to actively participate in these endeavours, leveraging their energy and creativity to drive positive change within their communities.

Chief Ajewole reminded the youths of the ICT training organized by the council as one of the right steps they should embrace to build new skills and sharpen existing ones to meet those challenges of this time.
