The prominent Ibadan warlord family, Balogun Ibikunle Royal Dynasty, in its usual yearly tradition, has organised its fourth annual Ramadan lecture.
According to the release by Baale of Geeru who also doubles as the Chief Host, Alhaji Abdul-Rauf Alamu Oloyede Ibikunle, the lecture, slated for Sunday 18th of April, 2021 (5th of Ramadan, 1442) is holding at Balogun Ibikunle Village, Via Ajibode Area, Geru, Ibadan.
The lecture with the topic: “Spiritual Steadfastness In Spite of Nigeria’s Socio-Economic Challenges” is going to be delivered by Sheikh (Dr.) Abdul-Majid Dauda Alabi under the supervision of the Royal Father of the Day, Gbonnka Balogun of Ibadanland and Mogaji of Ibikunle Family, Rear Admiral Abdul-Lateef Akintola Ibikunle (Rtd).
The Spiritual Father of the Day is the Chief Imam of Laniba Central Mosque, while the Imam of Al-Walidaeni Central Mosque, Balogun Ibikunle Village, Engr. Abdul-Hakeem Adelani will host all invited guests.
The release also said Proprietor of Qiblah Schoos, Aleshinloye Ibadan, Alhaji Munir Durojaye Ademola will be the Chairman of the Day, while the Deputy Chief Registrar, High Court, Osogbo, Barrister (Alhaja) Fatimah Adejoke Sodamade will be the Mother of the Day.
Special Guests at the annual lecture include the MD, Mudis Merits Venture, Ojoo Ibadan, Alhaji Mudathir Ishola and Chairman, Geeru Balogun Ibikunle Muslim Community, Alhaji Ismail Olalekan.
Others are the Proprietor, Allahu-li-Hayyu Group of Schools, Alhaji Abdul-Ganiyy Yusuff Ibikunle, Alhaji Lukman (Tanker Dealer), Alhaji Qasim Abdul-Ganiyy (Business Tycoon), Alhaji Maroof Alabi (Transporter), Alhaji Afeez Olugbemi (Afeezco International) and Alhaji Ismail (Transporter).
