The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has won all the local government areas in Oyo State with over 449-thousand votes.
The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAB), Professor Olusola Babatunde Kehinde who is the state Collation Officer for the presidential election announced the results at the state INEC office in Ibadan, the state capital.
According to Professor Babatunde, Tinubu polled 449,884 to defeat PDP’s Atiku who polled 182,977 and LP’s Obi with 99,110.
He said the number of registered voters in Oyo state is 3, 237, 310, while the number of accredited voters is 854, 439.
The state Collation Officer also added that total valid votes stand at 809,485, while the rejected votes stand at 42,471, and total votes cast stand at 851,956..
