Former ALGON Chairman in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye has expressed deep sadness over the death of of the former Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government, Hon Bimbo Omiyale which occurred on Sunday morning after a protracted.

In a statement made available to journalists through his media office, Aleshinloye expressed his heartfelt condolences to late Omiyale’s family, the Forum 68 (Ex-ALGON) and the people of Ibadan South East Local Government Area.
“His death is a rude shock, as the ex Council Chairman, who until his demise, was “a strong, dedicated and loyal member of our forum”. Aleshinloye stated.
The ex council chairman described the late Omiyale as a dedicated and committed gentleman, who contributed to the growth and development of his community and local government area. He stated that he would be greatly missed by his political associates and others closed to him.
It would be recalled that late Omiyale battled with an undisclosed ailment for some periods and was hospitalized before he gave up the ghost.
Aleshinloye charged the incumbent Governor of Oyo State, to fulfill the Supreme Court judgement in paying all the entitlements of the ex-ALGON on time in order to meet up the financial obligations of its members.
He said many of his members have died owing to lack of fund to meet up their medical bills.
“The death of Bimbo Omiyale now brought the number of his lost members to 27 due to one medical challenge or the other.” He added.
Omiyale has been buried today (17/10/2023) by 4pm in his residence at Bankole area, off Tipper Garage, Ibadan, according to the Islamic rites.
Aleshinloye prayed to God to accept the deceased’s soul and grant the family and friends the fortitude to the loss.
