Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic staff unions, including ASUP, SSANIP and NASU have mourned the death of the Governing Council Chairman of the institution, Professor Abiodun Ojo.

In a statement jointly signed by the chairmen of the three unions, they described the death of Professor Ojo as a huge blow to the whole of the institution, all the departments and the unions in the school.
“It took us a while to come to terms with the reality of your unexpected demise, hence, this is coming now.
“Your death is agonizingly painful.
It’s quite unfortunate we have to use past tense to qualify you. You were a bridge builder and a peace maker.
“Your unwavering dedication and visionary leadership in the institution is exemplary.
“Your passing to be with the triumphant saints leaves a void that will be felt by the unions who had the privilege of working directly with you.
“We will always remember your good deeds in fostering harmony in the Polytechnic community. God shall give us and the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Adieu Professor Abiodun Ojo.” The statement reads.
The unions’ chairmen also prayed that God will grant the Polytechnic community, all the unions and the deceased immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss.
