Death, the ultimate thief, has struck again, snatching away a shining star in the blink of an eye. Your sudden departure in the United States where you have been receiving and responding to treatment has left a trail of shock, panic, and unanswered questions in its wake, leaving us grasping for answers that may never come. Your absence, though brief, had already created a sense of unease among loved ones, who were comforted only by the thought of your imminent return. But fate, in its cruel twist, has dashed those hopes, leaving us with a gaping void that can never be filled.

Born in the charming town of Otu, Barrister Isaac’s journey to greatness was marked by a thirst for knowledge, a deep respect for education, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Your early years in the finance department at Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority laid the foundation for your future successes as a Chartered Finance and Investment Analyst, Barrister at Law, and political leader.
As Commissioner for Lands, Housing, and Survey, you introduced revolutionary initiatives, including electronic Certificate of Occupancy(C of O) and Geographic Information System (GIS). Your tenure as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters was marked by groundbreaking accomplishments, including effective administration, transparent financial management, and harmonious relationships between traditional rulers and government institutions.
Your passion for progress in Oyo State shone through in every aspect of your work. Your loyalty, discipline, and integrity earned you a place at the heart of Governor Ajimobi’s administration. As the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, your leadership was marked by integrity, innovation, and a deep commitment to the well-being of the people.
Even as we took solace in your continued guidance, issuing directives on party affairs, your passing has exposed the fragility of life and the transience of human presence. We are left to ponder the what-ifs, the whys, and the hows, as your sudden exit has raised more questions than answers. Your legacy, however, will live on, inspiring us to cherish every moment and to strive for the excellence you embodied.
To your immediate and extended family, I offer my deepest condolences. May the memories of his love, laughter, and guidance comfort you in this difficult time.
To the APC family, both in Nigeria and the diaspora, we mourn the loss of a dedicated leader and champion of progress. Your contributions to the party will never be forgotten.
I also extend my condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdullah Umar Ganduje, and all State Chairmen, Oyo State Executive Committee Members, and Local Government Party Chairmen and members of their executive committee. Your passing has left a gaping hole in the party’s leadership.
To the Paramount ruler of Otuland, his Chiefs, and all sons and daughters of Otu, I offer a special condolence. Barrister Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu was a proud son of Otu, and his legacy will live on through the kingdom.
As I bid farewell to this extraordinary individual, I take comfort in the memories of his remarkable life. May his legacy continue to inspire us to strive for excellence, integrity, and innovation. Rest in peace, dear leader. Your impact will never be forgotten.
