An Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency hopeful, Agbakin Olalere Akinrinde has promised to offer effective and efficient representation by attracting dividends of democracy to his constituents if elected in 2023 general election.

Akinrinde, who retired few months ago from the Central Bank of Nigeria as a Deputy Director, made the pledge while addressing journalists in Ibadan on Wednesday.
He assured his constituents that he has what it takes to represent and attract meaningful development to the constituency.
According to him, “I’m here to serve the people of Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency and I will be contesting on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). I hereby finally inform you about my aspiration to serve the good people of Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
“Be assured that our great party ,the SDP will never regret choosing me to be the candidate to represent my people as accountability, transparency and quality representation will be my watchword.
“My target is to serve through effective and efficient representation and by bringing the dividends of democracy to the people of my Federal Constituency.
“Going to the National Assembly is not only about making laws but also engaging in fruitful deliberations to represent the interests of your constituents.

“I count on you journalists here present to help propagate the gospel of SDP and myself, Agbaakin Olalere Akinrinde in this political journey.
“We will all rejoice if you help spread this message to represent my people come 2023,” he said.
While speaking on the two major parties, he said the two parties have disappointed Nigerians and there is a need for an alternative which is the SDP.
He warned politicians and candidates in the constituency to be cautioned and not see politics as a do or die game, adding that he has received several threat to his lives and that of his family since he commenced his political sojourn.
The Press Conference was attended by SDP stalwarts in the federal constituency as well as some of its associates.
