The AIONIAN group of schools has bestowed an ‘Award of Academic Excellence and Humanitarian Service on Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Tolu Odebiyi.
According to a statement signed by Olubunmi Omo’ogun, the Media Aide to Senator Tolu Odebiyi, the Chief Aionian, Mr. Akinyemi Farayola stated that they found the Senator worthy of the award following his immense contributions to the development of education in Ogun West Senatorial District of Ogun State and his outstanding parliamentary performance in the 9th Senate.
Mr. Farayola said, “The award is presented to Distinguished Senator Tolu Odebiyi, to appreciate and recognise his unflinching support to the development of Yewa Grammar School, Ilaro, Ogun State, a member of the AIONIAN group of schools and Nigerian education at large”.
The award is a testament to the Senator’s amazing interventions in the areas of education, skills acquisition programmes, women and Youths empowerment and much more.
The statement further stated that Senator Odebiyi considers the award as an encouragement to do more for his beloved Senatorial District, Ogun West.
