Ibadan Mega Voice wrapped up her 2nd anniversary celebrations on Sunday in a grand style in Ibadan.
Ibadan Mega Voice is an association of Ibadan Indigenes in communication industry, covering Print, Electronics and Online media, Public Relations, Advertising, Theatre, Printing, Music and Publishing.
Different activities including Keep Ibadan Clean Campaign, Free Medical Outreach, Donation to Charity Homes, Sports Competition and Jumah Service had come before the Grand Finale
Personalities awarded at the Grand Finale of the Second Anniversary and Award Ceremony held on Sunday at Bode Amao Hall, Ibadan House, Oke – Aremo , Ibadan, included the President General, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes , Chief (Barr) Sulaimon Ajewole, Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board (Muslim Wing) , Sheikh Hashim Abdul-Wahab Atere, Mogaji Abdul- Sabur Olawore , Hon.Bayo Amusat—Gbenla, Fuji Icon, Alhaji Taye Adebisi Currency, OYSIEC Chairman, Mogaji Isiaka Olagunju, Eleven Local Government Chairmen led by ALGON Chairman,Hon Sikiru Sanda amongst others.
The President, Ibadan Mega Voice, Aare Kola Olomide, explained that the awards were given to Ibadan indigenes and non-indigenes from various fields following their positive impacts on their communities and Ibadan in general.
Aare Olomide sought for the support of all and sundry on the purchase of a business and construction of the secretariat building for the association
He thanked the awardees and other personalities for identifying with the association.
The event was graced by eminent personalities from different fields, including the Chairman of Agidigbo FM, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat.
