The leaders and supporters of Former Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu across the 12 wards in Ibadan North APC have reaffirmed their unalloyed support for the party, President Bola Tinubu and all candidates of the party in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
The party leaders stated this in a communique issued at the end of their meeting held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The leaders also used the opportunity to debunk the rumour making rounds that they have defected to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), describing the reports as false, misleading and contrary to their collective position.
The leaders stated that they remain firmly within the APC and are committed to strengthening the party through grassroots mobilisation, unity, discipline and active participation in all party’s activities.
They further reaffirmed their support for President Bola Tinubu, and the Renewed Hope Agenda, while also expressing their determination to work for the success of Honourable Aderemi Oseni, FNSE; Hon. Umar Farouk Alao among other party candidates.
The leaders called on all APC members and stakeholders to disregard rumours and remain united, disciplined and focused on delivering victory for the APC at the polls.
The communique reads:
“COMMUNIQUÉ: REAFFIRMATION OF LOYALTY TO APC AND SUPPORT FOR APC CANDIDATES
“We, the leaders and supporters of Chief Bayo Adelabu across Wards 1–12 of Ibadan North Local Government, reaffirm our unwavering loyalty and commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC). We categorically reject reports that we are defecting to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), describing such reports as false, misleading and contrary to our collective position.
