The confirmation of the additional nominees which held on Tuesday during the plenary presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin at the Parliament Building, Secretariat, Ibadan has made it 16 Commissioner-designates announced so far.
Ogundoyin, who expressed confidence in the Governor’s selection of his cabinet members urged the new Commissioner-designates to bring their various expertise to bear on governance across various ministry in the state.
The nine-man list included three returning cabinet members, Mr Wasiu Olatubosun, Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye and Mr Segun Olayiwola while the six new members are Mr Abiodun Aikomo, Prof. Abdulwaheed Soliu, Mr Majeed Mogbojunbola, Mr Williams Akinfunmilayo, Prince Dotun Oyelade and Mr Obafemi Ojo.
It would be recalled that the House had earlier screened and confirmed a seven-man list initially transmitted from the state Governor, Seyi Makinde.
