The Head of Royal Roots 92.9FM Ibadan, Charles Alade has bowed out of the service of the radio station after resigning his appointment.

Alade revealed this in his Facebook post where he appreciated all his lovers and followers for their supports and love for his brand as an ace broadcaster.

He appreciated God for seeing him through his over one year sojourn while at the helms of affair as the Head of the urban radio station.

He also thanked God for the spirit of excellence and creativity he bestowed upon him, the team and the opportunity to experiment with a lot of things that brought the much needed attention to the radio station during his stay.

He poured encomiums on For the many partnership and many entertainment and other showbiz brands for their collaborations with the with him while experiencing gladness for the opportunity to add colours to their events.

He wrote:

“Every beginning must have an end, I am forever grateful to God for the privilege to steer the affairs of Ibadan #1 Urban Radio Station, R2FM for one year and three months.

“I thank God for the spirit of excellence and creativity he has bestowed upon me, the team and the opportunity to experiment with a lot of things that brought the much needed attention to the radio station during my tenure. For the many partnership and collaborations with the entertainment stakeholders in the city. I am glad to have added colours to your events, many of you wouldn’t know what it cost to pull up such support for you.

“I am also grateful for the ideas and events we were able to host as a station that got others wondering what was going on there.

“The challenge thrown at me as the only and chief Marketer of the station brought out the side of me I never knew was there before now, I thought I was just a bloody presenter. I didn’t know I could make money too.

“To all my friends who supported me by putting their voice, experience, influence and expertise on our radio, you all are real MVP’s.

“To those who God grant me the opportunity to amplify their voice through our radio platform. I thank God for your lives.

“I want to specially thank my principals, Greg Odutayo (GMD) and Debbie Odutayo (ED), I must stress that ED is such an amazing woman, we probably didn’t speak more than five times personally via phone call but I just loved her spirit from the first day of contact, She is absolutely phenomenal, same as MD.

“I am moving on to greater heights and I can’t but thank you sir and madam for the opportunity given to me to manage the affairs of Ibadan #1 Urban Radio Station, Royal Roots 92.9FM Ibadan. To my fans, friends and family, I will definitely update you all about my next move. Thank you all for your prayers as I need more of it at this period of transition. Ese Modupe oooo.
