The immediate past Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin has been re-elected as the Speaker of the state 10th Assembly.

Ogundoyin became the Speaker of the 10th assembly during the inauguration of the Assembly after being nominated by a reelected member from Ìsẹ́yìn/Itesiwaju State Constituency, Bamidele Adeola whose nomination was seconded by another re-elected member from Ìbàdàn North II State Constituency, Babajide Gabriel.
Also the immediate past Deputy Speaker of the House, Muhammed Fadeyi was re-elected as the Deputy Speaker of the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly.
Fadeyi was nominated another re-elected member from Ido State Constituency, Razak Mabaje and was seconded by Owolabi Olusola who is also a returning member from Ibadan North-East II State Constituency.
