The PDP House of Representatives candidate for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon Lanre Sarumi has felicitated Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on the occasion of his 55th birthday.
Sarumi, who described the Makinde’s leadership style as exceptional and unprecedented in the state, prayed that God grant the Governor more wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state.
He called on Oyo State residents to continue to support Seyi Makinde-led administration and ensure the PDP’s victory in the forthcoming general elections. He charged them to vote PDP across board to ensure continuity of good governance in the state.
The young and intelligent politician expressed assurance that the good people of Oyo State will reciprocate the good gesture of the PDP-led Makinde administration by electing the governor for the second term in office.
Sarumi congratulated the governor for attaining such feat at 55. He appreciated Governor Makinde for ensuring that senior citizens in the state celebrate Christmas in good mood by approving ₦10, 000 Christmas bonus for the state pensioners.
He also lauded the governor for promising to pay 13th month salary to all the civil servants in the state, stressing that this will go a long way to ensure diligence, commitment and dedication from the state workers.
Honourable Lanre Sarumi used the occasion to also felicitate Christians in Oyo State and Nigeria at large for witnessing this year’s Christmas, urging them to emulate Jesus Christ and imbibe the lessons in his birth.
Sarumi wished them a happy new year in advance, while he admonished them to celebrate in moderation. He enjoined the electorate to get their PVC and ensure they vote for PDP to ensure continuity of good governance in the state.
