Ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general election, the stakeholders and members of People Living With Disabilities (PWD) have drum support for Governor Seyi Makinde so that the good work can continue beyond 2023.

The stakeholders of PWD’s gave the support to show appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for what his administration has done for people with special needs in the last three years.
The meeting, according to
Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on People With Special Needs, Hon. Olufemi Timothy, solicited support of stakeholders and members of People Living Disabilities for re-election bid of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Hon. Olufemi Timothy explained that since the commencement of the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration, welfare of members of PWDs has been given priority.
“Let me categorically tell you that we are lucky to have Governor Seyi Makinde at the helms of affairs in Oyo State because in the scheme of things, especially on giving political appointments to people with disabilities in all the 33 local government across the state, it is unprecedented.”
“It is also on the record that this administration has employed appreciable members of PWD’s into the Teaching profession. I want to tell you that it is the Governor Seyi Makinde’s philanthropic gesture and his milk of kindness that gives greater hope to PWD’s in the state.”Hon. Timothy said.
Hon. Timothy also urged the stakeholders and members of PWD’s to collect their permanent voter cards and vote for Governor Seyi Makinde and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming election.
The meeting had in attendance some Supervisory Councillors, including Hon. Ajibola Owolabi (Ibadan North East), Hon. Oyedeji Olusegun (Ibadan Southwest), Hon. Yisau Olayiwola (Ona-Ara) and Hon. Adeyemo M.B (Oluyole).
Others are Hon. Abideni Alabi (Lagelu), Hon. Adekola Tajudeen (Ido) , Hon. Rasaq Adeleke (Akinyele), Hon. Omoluke Janet (Iseyin), Hon. Kareem Adetunji (Saki), Hon. Alabi Temitope (Atiba) and two stakeholders, former Supervisory Councilors, Hon. Akinsawe Musa and Hon. Ibeh Chukwuma.
