Despite ongoing litigation, Oyo State House of Assembly has directed the Chief Judge the state to set up a seven-man panel to investigate the allegation of gross misconduct against the Deputy Governor, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan.
This was contained in a motion jointly moved by the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Sanjo Onaolapo and Hon. Akintunde Olajide on Wednesday during the plenary.
The House directed the panel to report its findings within 90 days of the commencement of its investigation.
