Spread the love

Today we will be taking a cue from a song stating that “Nigeria is for all, it must not be destroyed, We have no other place to go, far from home can never be like home, lets come together as one to make Nigeria great”

As easy as it may seem, it is so difficult but we must never get our eyes off the dream of a better Nigeria.

The 2023 Nigerian election is what is the main thing across the country now. Presidential Aspirants, young and old at this time, suddenly become lover of men and not their pockets. They speak the truth not from their hearts but from their lips because in essence they love their pockets rather than service to humanity.

Nigerians want a leader who is ready to serve and not backbite all in the name of getting to the top seat. Nigerians want a leader who can help address their fears of insecurity, poverty and tribalism in our land.

Everyday, Nigerians wake up to bad news that never seems to stop. However, they are the ones who sell their votes with just 5kg of rice.

So who is to blame, the aspiring ruler or the ruled?

As much as the government carries the major blame, let us never forget we also played a part in the destruction.

Nigerians in Diaspora who want the best for Nigeria should remember that clamouring for war isn’t the way out, rather clamouring for peace because there is no place like home.

Another song says “Nigeria is our beloved country, working together is the key, Our future is You and Me.”

We all need to work for a better Nigeria. We should not focus on getting a leader based on his or her tribe but should be on the fact that he or she is ready to serve. That he or she is ready to give rather that take.

We have a long task ahead of us, our unity will make us win this race.

The race for us all, we shall overcome.
