The President-General of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Barrister Sulaimon Ajewole has congratulated an illustrious son of Ibadanland, Dr. Morufu Olasunkade Azeez on his investiture as the first Governing Council Chairman/President, Institute of Leadership Coaching and Strategy (ILCS).
A statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Publicity Secretary of CCII, Mr. Kola Olomide on behalf of the President-General, said the honour is well deserved and reflecting the commitment and dedication of Dr. Azeez.
“This well-deserved honour reflects your exceptional dedication, leadership, and commitment to nurturing talent and promoting strategic coaching.
“Your impressive career, spanning over three decades across key industries such as oil and gas, aviation, manufacturing, and consulting, highlights your expertise and outstanding contributions.
“Your roles in HR, corporate training, and business process improvement have left a lasting impact on numerous professionals and organizations.
“As a pioneer in leadership development, with significant contributions to professional bodies both in Nigeria and internationally, your visionary leadership will no doubt guide the Institute to new heights.” The statement reads.
CCII President-General also extolled the philanthropic virtues of Dr. Azeez and his contributions to the development of socio-cultural development of Ibadanland.
Barrister Ajewole, while expressing confidence in the leadership qualities of Dr. Azeez, said the institute will play a pivotal role in shaping future leaders.
“As an illustrious son of Ibadanland, your involvement in socio-cultural and philanthropic organisations such as Omo Ajorosun Club, and several others further demonstrates your commitment to community service and societal advancement.
